Please fix this

When the app first started I had no problems with it. I do my Math XL homework on my IPad. When I had a fraction I was able to touch next to the fraction and get out of the denominator. With the new update I cant do that. If I click a particular part of a problem it does not move so that I an edit my answer. That also means I can not get out of the denominator of the fraction to continue with the problem. I would like to get my home work done so please fix this.
